Our curator
Céline Downen
Céline Downen graduated from Columbia College in Chicago in 1996 with a BA in Photography. Having grown up in Salt Lake City until she was 12, she has always considered Utah her home and moved back in 2006 with her husband. She now divides her time between taking care of their 3-year-old son and working for the Sundance Film Festival. She never leaves home without her Holga, or her son, who is happy to join her photographic adventures. Together they have cruised State Street, taken road trips to several ‘Main Streets’ in America, and most recently visited ‘The Mother Road’ and what remains of old Route 66.
